June 7th - Sleep/ C.V/YouTube Fame!

Today started at 8AM, shock horror! He's ALIVE!!! I stayed at my dads last night so was up early to eat breakfast with Kate and the kids, I had a nice bowl of cheerio-like cereal whilst Kate whipped up some porridge for her, Fred and Lizzie. We had a bit of breakfast chit chat then got the kids ready for school, T-dog is big enough to sort himself out and set off solo, I walked with lil fredster and lizzie to their school which is nicely placed about 30 feet away from there house. Then headed to my house (nans house).

I rocked up at like 9:30AM, my nan was literally speechless as she rarely sees me live and kicking before noon, I grabbed a glass of water then snuck off upstairs back to bed.

I was a major lazy git today and slept until 5PM, shit what a waste of a day...I really couldn't be arsed to do anything though and my neck and face were peeling which isn't the loveliest of sights.

I got up and made a sammich with some nice seedy bread, a slice of ham, a bit of cheese and a few crisps to add some crunch, today I opened my packet of "Salt Your Own" and nearly cried with joy, my packet today included a sachet, Praise the lord!

With dinner out the way I offered to look at my Nan's new T.V which was upstairs-upstairs, it had subtitles on all the time, which was annoying as they aren't deaf ...Yet ;)

It's a brand spanking new flatscreen TV, with built in freeview which is all very snazzy, my grandparents have a hard time adjusting to new technology, bless them. In all fairness I did end up having to Google it as I couldn't for the life of me figure it out, anyway Google prevails yet again and those subtitles were eradicated. Below is a picture of the beautiful set-up and the tv stand G-unit made yesterday at that horrid hour.

As you can see I very cheekily hooked up my xbox, I played a few hours today and got back into my winning ways on MW2 and Blops.

My sister Emma was heading over to my mothers to pick up a Tripod to borrow for a uni/work project and asked if I would like to go with her, I went and got changed and decided to give my new clothes a run.

My brother Charles was down over the weekend (you would know this if you've been following) and left me a pair of Ted Baker's and a new Adidas hooded sweater I tried them on and took a couple of pics (below) and was ready to rock n roll. We headed over to my mothers place at 7:30pm as they had just been swimming and were due back around then.

Got to my mums but no one was about so I collected a few things together which I had I forgotten last time I was over, bank cards, clothes, laptop (even though it's dead), razor(I totes need a shave) and some folders containing school records and work records and random documents I would need in my search for a job.

Mum and the girls arrived a little later and we had a little chat and looked around for a piece of the tripod which was missing (the little connector that connects device to tripod, after about 30 mins of searching mum realized it was in her camera bag, Fail.

We then watched a programme called "The World's Strictest Parents". The idea of the programme is to send misbehaving and dickhead brit teenagers to respected strict families in an attempt to make them see the way. The girl on this weeks program was an utter mong, she left school at 14 and got drunk a lot and was generally just a dick, the lad was 18 finished school with decent grades but couldn't be arsed to follow up with college and instead just got high a lot. They were sent to a strict christian family over in Puerto Rico for a week, twas quite funny, but the whole way through I just wanted to punch the girl in the face.

The program finished at 9pm, Chloe went off to bed and I gathered all my shiz and we went back home (Nan's), I decided I needed to write a C.V so knuckled down on that, however I have been warned if I talk about it too much in my blog I will receive a swift hit to the ovaries, so I shall speak no more on the subject. Consider yourself mentioned, John Keating.

Coming up to midnight and I've just finished writing my C.V and am now chilling on the PC, writing this, and listening to a bit of Ed Sheeran, Me and my housemate Sid and his pal went so see Ed Sheeran live at a small pub called "The Hare and Hound" (I think) in Birmingham a while back, it was an awesome set as our main man Ed did the whole set acoustic, on a table, in the middle of the room.

Anyhow Long story short, I got very drunk, drinking pints of JD and Coke at nearly a tenna a pop, Me and Ed had a little bit of banter between songs and at one point he even sang a little song to me "Will you wanna come to my hotel" at the end of the set a couple of people were going around asking the crowd if the enjoyed the show, filming it as they went. As seen in the video I am about to embed I was a tad drunk and stumbled into a couple who were talking to aforementioned camera and I gave my two cents.

I am at 2:27 in this video, however watching the whole thing is acceptable ;)

So yeah that's been my day, off to watch crap on T.V and play games online for a few before bed, busy day of job hunting tomorrow, Cheers for everyone who has been following and reading, this is the first time I've blogged ( you could probably tell as I suck at sentences and punctuation).

Correct to time of posting this there has been 417 views and 6 followers, I really appreciate you taking the time to read and please do share and follow!

June 6th - Living on a Prayer.

I was having a bad dream, can't quite remember what it was about but I rolled over and awoke in a frantic state, I could hear what sounded like a saw going nearby, I grabbed my dog to check the time, it was like half 8 give or take a bit, Turns out my grandad had been doing a bit of DIY and was cutting some wood to build a tv stand for upstairs-upstairs...why he chose to do it first thing in the morning is beyond me, but eh each to their own.

After the sawing had ceased I let a sigh of relief before flipping my pillow to a colder side and nodding back off to sleep, I hadn't made any plans for the day so felt no need to get up at such a time.

Come noon I woke up again and decided to get dressed and start my day, I wander down stairs and I'm met by two strangers sat at our dining table, a lad and lass who I had never met before, they go to uni with my sister so I introduced myself and shook hands as you do when you first meet people, can't for the life of me remember their names. I continue into the kitchen where Emski is with another Uni friend, name also forgotten, they were just having a spot of lunch before going off to kettles yard (I think, wasn't payin attention as had just gotten up) for part of their course.

They left and I grabbed myself a sammich, (Oh Will you spelt Sandwich wrong...oh noes) which contained ham and cheese, I cracked open a pack of "Salt Your Own" and to my utter dissatisfaction there was no salt sachet, I was absolutely livid. Two days on the run I had opened a packet and not had a salt sachet, I put a few of the crisps in my sammich to add a bit of crunch and ate the rest unsalted.

Hopped onto my nans laptop (Mine's dead still :/) and continued my job search, looked on gumtree and jobsearch sites but didnt really see anything decent, I also realised I need to make a new CV because my one is on my laptop which is lame and dead so that's a no go, it's been over a year since I made a CV so I sucked at attempting to get one together, I bore'd it off and decided to leave it for now.

I chilled on facebook for an hour or so still looking around for jobs and reading up how to make a decent CV then decided I would pop over to my dads to play a bit of xbox. I headed over at about 3:30 and played with Alfred and Lizzie in the garden for a bit before heading upstairs and playing some COD MW2 on my xbox I loaned to T-Dog, had a few rounds then my pal Tommy got on and we played a few more, I stayed over for dinner which was at like 6:30pm, we had Chicken kiev and chips, beans and pasta, I gave the pasta and beans a miss but tucked into the chunky chips and kiev! Dad wasn't due home til 7-7:30.

We chilled in the living room and watched St Trinians 2, which I must admit is quite a decent film, I helped Alfred complete some little game on the computer where you are on a bike and you can change colours of your vehicle, you have to be the same colour as the paths to ride on them, I was in control of the throttle and he was in control of the colour changes, we made a good team and with a combined age of 27 we nailed it!

Dad got home and I offered to watch the kids so him and Kate could go out for some dinner and spend some time together, they gladly accepted and got changed and headed out, orders were for the kids (Fred and Liz) to go to bed when the film finished so I gave the orders at 8:30 for them to head upstairs, they started moaning so I ended up telling them if they behaved and were quiet I would put a film on for them. Matilda was chosen and I left them to it.

I return downstairs and T-Dog had assumed control of the TV, he had put on some program with Bon Jovi on he kept fastforwarding the talking and only watched the songs which was actually quite pleasant, they did an acoustic version of "Living on a Prayer" which was ace to say the least.

9PM came around and it was time for a bit of local action on the box, forget "Only way is Essex" and "Geordie Shore", Cambridge has a show that is better! "Cop Squad" is a new show starting NOW on Sky 1, it follows police around my home city and is actually quite funny, seeing people I know and live around...nice to see the old bill doing a good job.

Half way through the show and its pretty decent, gonna head off now as this isn't my laptop but it's been a decent day even though I've not really done much.

Naff Ol' Day - June 5th

Apologies to readers, my day has been boring as fook, I woke up at about 3:45pm, well I didn't wake up then I woke up alot earlier but had nothing on the agenda for today so just rolled around and napped and shiz until my sister Emma popped her head in the room and told me Sunday lunch would be ready in five mins, I was excited...Sunday roasts are my favourite kind of roasts, especially when cooked by my Nana who I would have to say is one of the worlds best roast makers!

I've come a long way with roast dinners, back in the day I only used to eat the meat, puddings and potatoes now I am all over that roast! Vegetables included, peas, carrots, potatoes, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, the lot! Oh how amazing it was, I think I ended up having two plates full.

For dessert my nan cooked a rhubarb crumble, it looked lovely but I feel rhubarb is an acquired taste, I am not a fan so I just had some Ice cream and custard, twas yummy.

My brother Charles arrived home just as we had finished dessert, he started getting all his stuff together for when he leaves to go back to Reading, he grabbed a bottle of Lucozade (energy/sport drink) and unscrewed the lid slowly to avoid getting any spillage, he had just asked me if I was writing a blog today and what I would put in it, I replied something along the lines of "I blog everyday , but I've done fook all today so it wont be too long" mid convo he jumps out of his seat and lucozade is flying everywhere, he thought it would be a good idea to put some of his 'Creatine' powder into his drink, any sane person would think that adding such powder to an already fizzy drink would end in a volcano-like eruption of liquid...It was pretty amusing to say the least and added a bit of bulk to my blog for today which I guess I am thankful for as I've literally done shit all else today.

For those who have no idea what Creatine is it's a powder that helps with muscle growth, maybe to help broski get his back in tip top shape or to help him grow big and strong, athletes use it to improve muscle growth and improve performance. (or something, I am no pro)

My bro set off at about 4:30 to pop around my dads before heading off back home, it had been a good few days seeing him and spending time with the trio (me him and Em) and having a little catch up and our day out yesterday, the weather today is pretty shoddy and rainy which is lame.

Just chilling now for the evening doing naff all I guess and watching crap on TV with my nan.

Below is a few pics from yesterdays adventure.

My brother Charles testing out a Poncho at one of the random stalls.

June 4th - Strawberry Fair/Black Pearl

Had a lush sleep, awoke at 8.30 ish and wandered down stairs to grab a bowl of cereal...to my disgust there was barely enough milk for a cup of tea so I sighed and slumped back to bed, my sister Emma popped her head in the door at around 9am and asked if I fancied going to the Strawberry Fair with her and my older brother Charles then possibly punting.

Fun Fact : My brother Charles is in the GB rowing squad and has been rowing for a few years now competing around the world representing Great Britain! Woot Woot Go Team GB! Having just recovered from keyhole back surgery he is on track to partake in the upcoming 2012 Olympic Games!! May as well include a pic of the ol' boy...(right)

For those who are not aware what the "Strawberry Fair" is let me explain, We have a rather large common near the center of Cambridge called the Midsummer Common, the Strawberry Fair comes here every year, excluding last year when it didn't because there was a big fuss about all the odd folks and drug takers and general annoyance of rowdy fair goers...or some lark.

The fair consists of live local music acts, films, arts and crafts and your usual stalls which sell all sorts, if you've been to any festivals or events you can imagine the stalls I am on about, selling hats, ponchos, glasses and random things which everyone buys yet nobody really needs.

The place is packed to the brim with all kinds of people, there's the old hippies, the pikeys, the chavs, the stoners, the indie kids...everyone seems to just come together for this one day to get drunk and high and chill in the sunshine listening to music and chilling in general, there is a circus area where the little circus crew do their own thing, a medieval re-enactment section, a kids play area and a variety of things to do. I have included a map of the layout below.

I woke up again at 11:30 and hopped in the shower, fook me was it hot on my sunburnt neck..I think I ended up showering in the cold as it hurt too much, rocked down stairs and had a bowl of cereal with my little cousin Molly who had magically appeared, someone must have popped to the shop to grab some milk, which was good because I really needed the boost from cinnamon cereal goodness! I re-downloaded WhatsApp on my HTC Desire, and got my little cousin Molly to send voicemails to our dear friend Frank "Thieving Rabbi" and various jew related stuff which did make me giggle as she is only 6!

We left on foot for the strawberry fair at 12ish, we gave our lil bro Tom a ring to see if dad and kate and the kids were heading over yet, they were in the middle of eating or doing something so we arranged to meet them later. We popped by one of Charles' old boat clubs "Rob Roy" on the way as the silly beanhead forgot to go toilet before leaving our house, we had to take a detour as this year the have cordened off one of the bridges to try and filter people through selected entrances with higher security measures in place, on entry there was a sign which stated searches of all bags would be in place, you are not allowed to take any drugs or bottled alchol inside, no more than 4 cans of booze and other random items which were blacklisted, which was odd because walking around there was still a potent pong of the herb.

We wandered around for about half hour looking at all the different arts and craft stalls and random shiz before bumping into my nan, aunt and her kids, we said a quick hello before moving along to other random stalls, we bumped into our uncles old neighbours too and had a catch up which was nice, we looked at a few more stalls before bumping into our mother who decided to take our little sister and lodger Chelsea out for the day, walked over to the pub which was very cheekily closed but they had opened a bar outside and were charging 4 pound a pint! and 3 pound for a large coke, we bumped into our friends Andy, Izzy and Will and sat down for a chilled drink by the river.

We decided we were going to go punting so after we finished our drinks we headed towards the exit, on the way we bumped into our dad, kate (wicked step mum heh) and the kids and had a little chat before making for the exit, we popped into sainsburys to grab some bread and meat for sammiches and some crisps and cakes and shiz for punting snacks, we then stopped for a toilet break in the "Lion Yard" shopping centre. As we were leaving there was a drunk pair of tramp-like men trying to walk up the stairs, they got to about the 4th step of about 7 before wobbling a bit taking a step back then falling over, one of the guys managed somehow to stay on his feet but the other guy he went flying and fell onto his back and did half a backwards roll, I nearly wet myself a little as one yelled to the other "Gert meh uppp". Added a bit of excitement to the day to say the least.

We continued down to the river to get ourselves a vessel, we piled onto a punt pulling off pirate accents on the way, on the punt was myself, Charles, Emma, Izzy and Will (awesome name I know right?) we set sail "off to Tortuga" according to captain Charles, we were actually only going down the river but eh let the boy enjoy his adventure! Everyone took it in turns to punt but myself as I am lazy and partially scared of the shakey slimline boat, for our friend Will it was a first punting experience and it took him a little while to get the hang of it, dodging trees and bushes along the river as he learnt to steer, when it was Izzy's turn to punt Charles decided to strip down to his boxers and go for a dip, clambering back into the punt poor Izzy nearly went for a dip, bending over to keep herself from going for a swim she timed it well with a whoosh of air taking her dress up and giving a group of South African passers by a nice view of her behind!

For my american viewers who are nubs here is what a punt is! A boat powered by the "Punter" who pushes it along using a long pole and steers with the pole in a rudder like fashion.

By the time we returned the punt my face was bright red with sunburn, my neck even moreso, we stopped off at the pub for a pint before returning home, I applied some aftersun to my burning face and settled down to a bit of "Casualty" with the nana, sadly I just missed a Curry which would of been a lovely dinner, may just have to settle with a pizza tonight.

A pretty early entry today as I am not sure if I will be up long and I am fairly certain nothing interesting will happen before I go to bed.

Check out the burn!

June 3rd - Lame Ass Day!

Having been left on the sofa, which I might add I am about 2 foot too big for, I was awoken fairly early by our Gypsy (my grandparents dog) wanting to go upstairs, you see she usually goes up in the morning to say hi and snuggle with my grandparents.. I let her up then attempted to nod back off, an hour or so later a few of the kids began to stir. They were running around and being loud and annoying like kids do in the morning, so I took the time to sneak past them and reclaim my bed which was stolen from me the night before, dozing off into a deep sleep.

It was not until about 4pm I actually woke up properly, I had been awake a few times during the day but the sun burn on my neck was being a right pain so I tried to just sleep it off, come 4pm I decided to get my lazy ass out of bed.

Moped about around the house and did absolutely fook all until about 6pm when I wandered over to St Edmunds College, where I used to work, to see if there was any chance of getting a few shifts in, over summer.

Arrived at St Edmunds and walked in, the place was very different from when I used to work there and most of the old staff had actually left, my pal Alex was still chef-ing there so I had a lil chat with him, things had definitely changed around there and there was a lot of staff already working, chances are I wouldn't be able to get any work which was shit, oh well.

Slumped back home, The sun was shining and aggravating my neck, I applied some more after-sun lotion and decided to fix up some dinner, I went for Ribs, they cost a mighty £2.99 for a rack. I cooked those badboys and scoffed the lot.

Since then I've been jobhunting online and asking around people I know for work, no luck as of yet which is lame because I have a maxxed bank account (-£1,400), £150+ owing on my credit card, owe money to various people, have a phone contract and need to find 300+ to hold for deposit on a new house in summer......sucks I know :/

Just chilling watching the Mentalist on the box and attempting to get myself out of this shit financial crisis, wish me luck!

June 2nd - Thorpe Park Adventures.

Started off the day at a lovely time of 8AM, rolled out of bed and freshened up then gave my mum a ring to make plans for the day, Thorpe Park was on the agenda so I was ringing to make sure the plan was in motion, had a bowl of cereal (cinnamon "somethings" ftw) got picked up at around 9am and the journey began!

We hit traffic which was lame and the radio in the car was awful, had a little nap and arrived to Thorpe Park at some random time early afternoon ish, gave my old boy Frank a txt to see what he was up to he replied and I quote "I got Pearl Harboured" and was waiting for the police or something, which is always funny, poor fella got twatted by some foreign kid last night and got a black eye, Tom was there but just watched, I think it was payback for the time Tom got headbutted by the ginge in the regal and Frank just watched, payback's a bitch! haha anyway I wished him well with his black eye and rocked up to Thorpe Park!

The first ride we queud for was the Nemesis Inferno (see pics) The queue was hectic and lasted nearly an Hour, I chilled in the sun and waited patiently and texted a few pals out of boredom in the line, until some excitement occured...this one lass, an hour in, decided to feint in the queue, I kinda felt bad for her mother who was scrambling to carry the floppy lass (aged 16ish) out of a hour long queue, I looked over and thought to myself "man I should help this woman" but then the little devil on my shoulder was all "quit your jibber jabber, you aint hurt" and I didn't want to lose my spot in the queue so I just watched, feeling a little bad inside. Another half hour passed and we were finally on the ride, if you've not encountered the Nemesis Inferno let me fill you in on what it is, it is a rollercoaster based on a Volcano, it leaves the station and climbs up a slope before diving into a downfall and loop the loop and various twirls and swirls, pulling a nice 4.5G.

Cool Fact : The Nemesis Inferno was featured on an episode of our much loved program "The Inbetweeners"

After the thrill of the Nemesis we decided to tackle the "Stealth" (video below) roller-coaster, and I have to admit this one was my favourite of the day, let me introduce this beauty if you've yet to encounter it, this roller-coaster it the fastest roller-coaster in Europe and only lasts an awesome 15 seconds, don't let that put you off, the amazing thrill of pulling 0-80 MPH (130km/h) in 1.9 seconds as an amazing take off before scaling the 205ft (62m) arch and twisting 90 degrees on the descent and tackling the "Bunny Hop" (little hump in the track) which produces the feeling of weightlessness before coming to a smooth finish at the end of the track, for a ride that takes an hour to queue for and 15 seconds to ride I have to say the sun burn was most definitely worth it. Sometimes the cart doesn't make it up to the top of the arch, however it IS designed to safely roll back down if it doesn't make it over. The video below shows how the ride goes.

After that we regrouped with my mum and the others kids, we queued a nice ten minutes and rode some water ride, sitting in a big round raft-like thingy (excellent description, I know) which bounced calmly around a course, got a little wet but nothing major, it was a relaxing ride.

The girls and mum went to ride the Zodiac and some other spinny twirly rides, me and John went to ride the Colossus which is the worlds first roller-coaster with 10 inversions pulling a nice 4.2G the queue was only small and lasted like half an hour, I think this was because when we first arrived the ride was not open due to a malfunction or some lark, anyway we finally got inside and hopped into our seats, John strapped in and I pulled my bar down to lock and reached for the extra belt thing you have to lock in place before take off, sadly I picked a naff seat with a short belt which wouldn't reach, the angry black man yelled at me "dude you gotta get out" so I did, and asked if I could wait for the next run and sit in a more adequate seat (for the fats obv) and he was all "nah man" I was all "What the Geoff!?" so sadly missed out, John said it was a bloody good ride though,

I then left the others and went to watch some EXTREME bike show, Three lads on motorbikes doing jumps and flips and wheelies and the lark, general EXTREME biking! lasted about half an hour and was pretty decent to be honest.

The others were queued up to go on the massive log flumey ride, so I waited and took pictures as they hurtled down the final slope and got soaked, we then had a little break with food and drinks before making our way back to the car, the journey home wasn't too bad, the traffic was pretty horrific but we had "now 72" I think or one of those random compilation CD's so I had a little sing along,

I got home at about 10pm and rocked up to my grandparents house where all the family (dads half) where having a get together/BBQ, managed to snatch up some left over food and a cool can of Cola, sat in the garden and had a little catch up with the family.

All of the kids decided they were staying over so my older sister Emma ended up making up 8 or so beds for random stragglers who were wanting to sleep over, Harry and Alfred were quick off the mark and Shotgunned the two beds in the room whilst Evie and Elizabeth were condemned to the floor,

I had 2 shots worth of Mickey Finns (Apple Sours) so treated my already hammered step mum to a shot before her and my daddio hopped in a taxi with two of the kids.

Everyone has gone to bed and I am the last one, I think I have been left with the sofa for tonight but eh, I am easy like a Sunday morning.

All that is left to do is apply some major after-sun to my pink face and back of neck, all that queuing in the sun fooked with my pretty face.

All in all was an awesome day, if you managed to make it to the end I thank you and god speed x

My Day - June 1st 2011

Started at a pretty standard time , waking at about 12 noon. I guess I am a lazy mofo sleeping in til midday but meh, I do need my beauty sleep! Anyhow..Showered then went downstairs to see what was what, spent the night at my Grandparents where I have a room/bed.

I wander in the living room and one of my little cousins is just wandering around the room, not even really doing an awful lot, so I say hi and we have the longest conversation about Lego Batman..and then super smash bros, like seriously...this conversation lasted well over an hour, the whole time the lil fella is marching up and down the living room, kinda gave me a headache keeping the convo up but it was interesting to say the least.

The other troops arrived consisting of my Aunt, my cousins Evie and Molly and their lil friend Ruby...we had a bit of lunch and then chilled in the garden, fun fun. Twas quite sunny and lovely outside.

We then headed over to my Dads house to see my other siblings, Thomas, Elizabeth and Alfred. Played in the garden for a few hours, then I introduced Tom to Xbox Live!! I had knew he would want to play Zombies so I took my own xbox over to his house, you see he has an xbox but the old one which has no built in wifi, I took mine and set it up and introduced him to COD MW2 online, admittedly he was only rocking a 4/14 kpd ratio, I mean the kids 14...he is pro at guitar hero and I am sure with a few more sessions with the master (me) he will be rocking a 1/1 in no time.

A day previous I had been over my dads and Thomas asked me to do his rubiks cube, I sat for nearly an hour baffled at why I couldn't solve it, it really pickled my brain so I promised when I next came over I would bring my cube to try and figure it out. It took me 20 minutes to compare the cubes and figure out some little shit had swapped a white sticker over with a blue one, which totally throws the possibility of solving out the window..Anyhow, I fixed it and reset the stickers and solved that badboy! Nailed it!

Had some pretty lush hotdogs and pizza for dinner with the kids, my aunt and my step mum, then went back upstairs for some xbox action! played a few rounds then my dad got in from work, the littlens were now playing the wii and I challenged them to a sword fight, oh what a rookie error, me..having never played before up against a child...odds are definitely in my favour, couldn't be more wrong, I got annihilated by my little brother, I took it on the chin and left them to it.

We watched Britain's Got Talent then I decided to walk back to my grandparents, I assume they are at the pub as the door was on the latch and the curtains were closed, since then I have been chilling with the dog, watching crap on tv and writing this, oh my life is amazing!

Proof I can solve the cube, recorded a while back, Enjoy.

Off to Thorpe Park tomorrow which should be a laugh, other than that...over and out.
